Elect Entertainment is a Canadian film and television production company building premium, character-driven stories that make audiences think, feel, and talk. Founded by actor, writer, and producer Hilson Rose, we develop original series and films about power, grief, family, and the cost of doing what’s right, grounded in Canadian voices with global reach. We’re also building a home for other storytellers: partnering with creators whose projects deserve to be seen, and helping bring them to audiences around the world.

Hilson Rose is a Congolese-Canadian actor, writer, producer, and founder of Elect Entertainment Inc. She is passionate about telling emotionally resonant stories that explore grief, identity, family, and resilience through elevated genre filmmaking.
Hilson is an alum of the Reelworld Emerging 20 Program (2025) and the Access Threshold Roots to Reels Filmmaker Accelerator (2026), and is currently part of the OYA Creators Lab: Future Forward Cohort (2026). She also served as a Staff Writer in the development room on the scripted web series Brothers and took part in the WGC Professional Development Committee's Ride-Along Program (2026), observing the writers' room process on a television series — further developing her experience within a collaborative television writers' room.
The Space Between marks Hilson's debut short film as writer and producer, serving as a proof of concept for a feature-length adaptation. Through Elect Entertainment Inc., she is committed to developing premium film and television projects that resonate with audiences in Canada and internationally.
