Elect Entertainment Inc. is a Canadian independent film and television production company dedicated to developing premium, character-driven stories for Canadian and international audiences. Founded by actor, writer, and producer Hilson Rose, the company is committed to creating commercially viable projects that combine compelling entertainment with emotionally authentic storytelling. Elect Entertainment is currently developing a slate of original projects across short film, feature film, and television.

Hilson Rose is a Congolese-Canadian actor, writer, producer, and founder of Elect Entertainment Inc. She is passionate about telling emotionally resonant stories that explore grief, identity, family, and resilience through elevated genre filmmaking.
Hilson is an alum of both the Reelworld Emerging 20 Program (2025) and the Access Threshold Roots to Reels Filmmaker Accelerator (2026). She also served as a Staff Writer in the development room on the scripted web series Brothers, further developing her experience within a collaborative television writers' room.
The Space Between marks Hilson's debut short film as writer and producer, serving as a proof of concept for a feature-length adaptation. Through Elect Entertainment Inc., she is committed to developing premium film and television projects that resonate with audiences in Canada and internationally.
